The Project

FaceTrails is not just another trail directory — it’s a new way of experiencing trails before your tyres ever touch the dirt. While most platforms reduce complex terrain to flat lines on a map, FaceTrails puts visual understanding first.

Trails are rendered in true 3D, combining terrain and satellite data to reveal elevation, gradients, and how each line actually sits in the landscape. The trail stops being a line and becomes a space you can read, interpret, and prepare for.

Along the way, intelligent annotations highlight technical sections, hazardous zones, exposed areas, and key features. This turns local trail knowledge into shared insight — especially valuable when riding unfamiliar terrain.

FaceTrails is built by riders, for riders. It prioritises clarity, safety, and real-world decision-making over social mechanics. Accounts, ratings, and tracking can come later — trust, accuracy, and visual context come first.
